The classic adidas Originals ZX8000 model gets the all-black treatment like one of our modern archetypes for evil–Darth Vader. This model has the upper festooned with varied textures, like smooth leather, patent leather, and suede. The shoulder armor of Darth Vader is ribbed is emulated on the toe and upper in premium leather. The varied textures reflect the different lines in Darth’s suit and the tonal grades of black and dark charcoal. Of all the releases, this one promises to be among the best received, not just because of Darth’s popularity, but because the shoe has the right amount of alterations to not override the integrity of the ZX8000’s classic styling.
